Privacy Policy
rarvo collects what you submit: card captures, contact details, and the information needed to pay an accepted bounty. Submissions are stored privately, are not published by default, and your personal information is not sold.

This policy describes how rarvo handles information collected through rarvo.com, ismypokemoncardreal.com, and authenticateyourpokemon.com.

What rarvo collects
rarvo collects three broad categories of information: what you deliberately submit, what is needed to pay you if you contribute, and a small amount of technical information generated automatically when you load a page.
- Captures you submit: photographs, video, and the descriptive details you provide about a card.
- Contact details you provide: name, email address, company, and any note you write into a form.
- Payout details for contributors: the PayPal or Venmo handle you nominate, and a postal address when shipping on an accepted mail-in is reimbursed.
- Tax information, where cumulative payouts to you reach a level at which rarvo is required to collect it before paying.
- Attribution parameters carried in links, such as campaign and referral tags, used to understand which pages introduce people to rarvo.
- Basic request data handled by Cloudflare as the hosting provider, including IP address and user agent, used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
What rarvo does with it
Captures submitted through the screening product are used to produce your advisory risk assessment and to improve detection. Captures submitted to the bounty program are reviewed, accepted or declined, paid when accepted, and added to the reference library.
Contact details are used to reply to you, to run a demo, and to administer your account or your submission. rarvo does not sell personal information. rarvo does not publish submitted captures by default; publication requires permission you give at submission time.
Payouts and tax information
Bounty payouts are made through PayPal or Venmo, so those providers receive the information they need to move the money and apply their own terms and their own reporting rules.
Cash payments can create information-reporting obligations once a contributor passes an annual threshold. rarvo may therefore have to collect tax details before releasing further payments. The exact thresholds, forms, and timing are being confirmed by counsel and will be stated plainly here before the program opens.
Storage and retention
Submitted media is stored in private object storage that is not publicly readable. Structured submission data is stored in a managed database. Both are operated on Cloudflare infrastructure.
rarvo intends to retain card evidence for as long as it remains useful to the reference library, to retain payment and tax records for as long as the law requires, and to honour deletion requests for personal information. Concrete retention periods will be stated here once reviewed by counsel.
Your choices
You choose what to submit. You are asked to keep faces, identification documents, shipping labels, payment cards, and unrelated personal information out of your photographs.
You can ask what rarvo holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to hello@rarvo.com. Records rarvo is legally required to keep, such as payment and tax records, are an exception counsel will describe precisely.
Children
The contributor bounty program is open only to US residents aged 18 or older. rarvo does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
rarvo will update this page when its practices change, and will note the date of the change at the top.
